Consumer Technology Hall of Fame Dinner

Overview

The first 50 honorees into the Consumer Technology Hall of Fame were inducted in 2000 at CES. Each year, a new group of inventors, engineers, business leaders, retailers and journalists are inducted.

The 2019 class was selected on February 27, in New York City by a panel of media and industry professionals, who served as judges. The nominations were submitted by manufacturers, retailers and journalists.

New for 2019, the Innovation Entrepreneur Award winners were also be honored at CTA’s Hall of Fame awards dinner.

The Innovation Entrepreneur Awards (IEA) Program

Sponsored by It Is Innovation (i3) magazine and the CTA Small Business Council, the Innovation Entrepreneur Awards program recognizes inspiring entrepreneurs, leading businesses and exceptional startups in the consumer technology industry. Executives and leading businesses with revenues under $30 million and the contributions they make to the U.S. economy are recognized with these awards. 

Awardees demonstrate innovation, dedication to the industry, community outreach and the tenacity to persevere through business and economic challenges. One consumer technology company, one startup company and one individual consumer technology executive are selected by a panel of industry judges for the Innovation Entrepreneur Awards each year.
