The effects of digital health on equity will be discussed, along with the essential policy measures needed to leverage digital health tools to overcome present challenges in providing quality healthcare, improving health outcomes, and addressing long-standing inequalities.
The Health Division helps to produce actionable data regarding market challenges, behavior patterns, awareness and/or usage of health, wellness, and fitness products, and solutions that demonstrate the value of these products and services.
The Health Division helped to create guidance documents, performance benchmarks and other standards to advance consumer and health care provider acceptance of solutions that enable health care.
CTA's Health Fitness & Wellness Committee develops standards, recommended practices, and related documentation for consumer health and fitness technology, including fixed, portable and wearable health and fitness devices. All are encouraged to join the Health Fitness & Wellness Committee and participate in its activities. The Health Fitness & Wellness Committee is particularly interested in adding new members (called "users" who acquire health & fitness products from those who create them) and those with a general interest.
