ANSI/CTA-2051, Personal Sound Amplification Performance Criteria was superseded by ANSI/CTA-2051-A, Wearable Sound Amplifier Performance Criteria. This document is provided for information only. The performance requirements are consistent amongst the two standards. For any questions, please contact standards@cta.tech.

This standard includes technical performance metrics and associated target values for consumer products that provide personal sound amplification and/or enhancement to a user.
