COVID-19 Impact Study: Canadian Use of Technology at Home

The objective of this research is to understand how Canadian households are shifting behaviors at home in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in Canada since the beginning of March 2020. Specifically, this research focuses on:

  • Frequency of content consumption (streaming video, ebooks, etc.).
  • Frequency of online ordering (groceries, restaurant take-out, household product delivery, etc.)
  • Use of contactless delivery options for food and groceries
  • Frequency of social media engagement to stay connected and share information
  • Use of online health and fitness tools
