"The race between countries to launch 5G networks is underway and today's action is a catalyst for innovation, paving the way for the U.S. to be 5G-ready. Modernizing and removing unnecessary regulations for small cell technology provides the much-needed backbone for smart cities, self-driving vehicles and digital healthcare, not to mention the three million jobs associated with upgraded mobile networks.
