"The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) appreciates recent developments, including the newly released draft of the Spectrum and National Security Act, which seeks to renew the FCC’s spectrum auction authority, and provide a pathway for freeing up spectrum for licensed and unlicensed use. As demand for consumer connected devices grows, to stay competitive, the U.S. must maintain its leadership by freeing up additional spectrum.
