The following statement is attributed to Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®, regarding the recent attacks against the Asian community.    

“We are appalled by the increasing attacks against the Asian community. These acts are inexcusable and run counter to the American values of diversity and inclusion.     

“As an association dedicated to supporting diversity and inclusion within the tech sector, CTA condemns group-based violence, hate, discrimination, racism and harassment. Our nation is stronger when we respect each other’s dignity and honor.    

“CTA stands in solidarity with the Asian community and all those who believe in the equality, dignity and respect of our neighbors."
