It also supports CTA's policy initiatives on Capitol Hill.
The bi-monthly magazine was announced a co-winner of an Eddie Award in the category of Association/Non-Profit – Full Issue – Professional/Membership Association. i3 was recognized for its January issue: “CES Turns 50.” The honor was announced October 11 at the celebratory awards luncheon held during The Folio: Show at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.
The next evening, i3 received a Thoth Award from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at an awards dinner at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The awards, named for the Egyptian god of wisdom who was a mediator, scribe and the inventor of communications and writing, recognize outstanding public relations in the national capital area.
"It's a great honor to receive these two awards for editorial excellence," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. "i3 is a critical tool supporting our primary mission – to promote innovation and grow the consumer technology sector. These awards validate the great work of our team, headed by Cindy Stevens, and our members who help support this vital publication.”
