CTA’s Glenda MacMullin Named Washington Executive Management Award Winner by SmartCEO

“With more than 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management plus an eye for strategic improvements and an attitude that inspires, I can’t think of a better recipient for this award,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “Glenda is known and respected throughout our industry and the association community for her strong mentoring and leadership skills.  She drives and embodies many of CTA’s central and core values which keeps us innovative, flexible and at the top of our game.”

SmartCEO’s Executive Management Awards program recognizes leadership and accomplishments of the region’s top management professionals, including CFOs, CIOs/CTOs, COOs as well as other Executives (CXOs). These individuals uphold the highest ethics, lead collaboratively and creatively and enhance their organization’s mission.

MacMullin began her career at CTA in 2004 as chief financial officer. Over the years, her responsibilities were extended to management of all building operations, oversight of the contract and legal operations, information technology, human resources, membership and the CTA Foundation. In 2012 MacMullin was promoted to chief operating officer for CTA.  She also serves as treasurer of CTA’s Executive Board.
