"Our thoughts are with President Trump and all those impacted by today’s senseless violence. In the wake of these tragic events, let us all remain calm and support law enforcement officials as they work diligently to investigate. Our democracy is strong because of a collective commitment to principles, which include our shared rejection of political violence in any form. Together, Americans stand united and resilient as a nation."
