Today, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) - owner and producer of CES®, the global stage for innovation - announced the promotion of Jean Foster to the newly-created position of Sr. VP, Marketing and Communications. Foster, currently VP of Marketing, CTA, will assume the new role Feb. 1.

"I'm thrilled to congratulate Jean on her promotion - and excited about the strategic alignment this new position will bring to CTA," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. "Jean has made great progress in transforming CTA's Marketing Department into a digital-focused and data-driven organization. And given her extensive experience leading integrated marketing and communications teams in the past, I know our CTA teams will enjoy an even greater level of synergy and success across all our marketing and communications initiatives."

Prior to joining CTA in 2016, Foster served as the chief marketing officer of Ostendio, an early stage startup in Digital Health. Before entering the startup world, she was vice president of marketing at Neustar, where she successfully repositioned the brand with media and influencers. Prior to joining Neustar, she was head of marketing and communications for British Telecom's North American division, leading all aspects of marketing and communications, and successfully building BT's brand in the region.
