ARLINGTON, VA, March 20, 2024 – Today, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® is announcing a new addition to the 2024 Executive Board (EB). Effective immediately, CTA Executive Board Chairwoman Deena Ghazarian has appointed IBM Consulting Vice President and Senior Partner Debbie Taylor Moore to a vacant at-large position on CTA’s governing board.  

“Debbie Taylor Moore brings a wealth of expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and quantum computing,” said Deena Ghazarian, Chairwoman, CTA Executive Board and founder and CEO, Austere. “As we navigate emerging challenges in the technology industry, Debbie will be a phenomenal addition to the CTA Executive Board.” 

An industry veteran, Moore has held the roles of CEO, Founder, Executive, Practitioner, Consultant and Investor in industry and government, across 26 countries and four continents. She has provided guidance as a trusted advisor to C-Suite leaders on emerging tech and risk management for more than 20 years. Moore serves on the CTA Board of Industry Leaders (BIL) and the Board of Directors for the U.S. Department of Defense Cyber AB, and holds advisory positions on numerous other global and domestic cybersecurity boards and technology councils.

Moore will assume an EB seat left vacant by the departure of Bridget Karlin, Senior Vice President of IT, Kaiser Permanente. Karlin served on the EB from 2017 through February 2024, including as chair from 2021-2022.
