Veronica Lancaster

Veronica Lancaster is Vice President of Standards Programs at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). She has worked in standardization for the past 25 years. Lancaster is also the President of the U.S. National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the focal point and conduit for U.S. parties interested in global standardization, technical and policy positions. She is the first woman to hold this position in its history. She is one of 15 global IEC Board members, and is also a member of its Business Advisory Committee. She is an ex-officio member of the ANSI Board of Directors and its Executive Committee. She previously held the position of President of the Board of Directors of Women in Standards. She has a B.S. in business admin, minor in business law, with honors. She served in the U.S. Army from 1989 until honorably discharged in 1994.
