The Smart Home Division of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® seeks to drive awareness and demand for smart home products, systems and services. The division represents the entire channel for home control, entertainment and networking products including integrators, distributors, manufacturers and startups.

  • Community Engagement: Leverage CTA resources to drive value to Smart Home division members

  • Research: Analyze current CTA research and execute at least one smart home focused market research report in 2025 to help elevate the gap areas and promote leading topics within the Smart Home industry

Connected Home Security System

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® Connected Home Security System helps guide connected home dealers and professionals through the most secure and best practices available for installing and configuring products, devices and systems.

Architectural Drawing Symbols Standard and Software for Use in Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD and More

The J-STD-710 Audio, Video and Control Architectural Drawing Symbols software is a ready-to-use set of electronic files (.ZIP) in six formats (.dwg, .gif, .jpg, .png, .tif, .vss) of all symbols that are referenced in the free standard ANSI-J-STD-710. ANSI-J-STD-710 defines a common set of blueprint floor plan icons that represents all facets of pre-wire and installation of electronic systems, products and devices in residential and commercial environments.
