The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) invites you to a virtual roundtable on the 2025 U.S. Innovation Scorecard—a data-driven look at how states support innovation through policy, infrastructure, and workforce development.
CTA CEO and Vice Chair Gary Shapiro will offer remarks on the Scorecard’s role in shaping state innovation strategy. Rick Kowalski, Senior Director of Business Intelligence, will walk through this year’s findings, highlight top-performing states, and explain how the Scorecard can support your state-level engagement.
New in 2025: four added categories—Grid Preparedness, Mobility, Blockchain, and Skilled Workforce—reflect today’s evolving tech landscape.
We’ll also provide updates on CTA’s state advocacy efforts, including recent work on AI, autonomous vehicles, and environmental legislation.
Additionally, we’ll discuss upcoming summit plans and share a brief recap of our engagements at the American Legislative Exchange Council Annual Meeting (ALEC), the National Conference of State Legislatures Legislative Summit (NCSL), and the National Governors Association Summer Meeting (NGA).
This is a valuable opportunity to learn, engage, and connect with other members working on state-level tech policy.
