Smarter Seas: The Future of Boating is Here
Brunswick, the global leader in marine recreation, showed up big at CES® 2026 — unveiling its largest-ever showcase of marine technology. With a focus on artificial intelligence, autonomy, connectivity and electrification, Brunswick demonstrated how boating is becoming more intuitive and capable than ever.
At the center was the Simrad® AutoCaptain™, featured on two boats — including the global debuts of the Sea Ray SLX 360. Powered by AI navigation, enhanced sensor fusion and real-time data, the autonomous system helps reduce stress while maneuvering.
The exhibit also highlighted connected systems that let users manage onboard power, monitor performance and interact with their vessel in new ways — lowering barriers to entry and expanding access to recreational boating. The FLITE RACE high-performance eFoil also made waves, setting a new standard in water sports performance.
On the CES Foundry stage, Brunswick leaders Marco Bracalente, Aine Denari, Lee Gordon and Samir Shah joined Jan Becker of Apex.AI, Inc. to discuss how AI is making boating smarter, easier and more connected.
Brunswick views CES as a catalyst for growth — not only as a launch point for the selling season, but as a moment where its divisions and brands come together. Advanced Navigation for a Smooth Ride
Long gone are the days of unfolding paper maps on a family road trip. HERE Technologies is transforming digital navigation and location intelligence for automakers, mobility providers and enterprises worldwide — enabling safer, more efficient and more sustainable solutions across driver assistance systems, software-defined vehicles, logistics and smart cities.
At CES 2026, HERE demonstrated how AI is reshaping the driving experience with its new Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) Maturity Framework — an industry first. Based on a global survey of automotive experts, the vendor-neutral roadmap helps automakers and partners assess their current capabilities and plan the shift toward software-defined mobility. HERE also emphasized CES as a key platform to connect with partners, customers and policymakers shaping the future of mobility and AI.
Partnership fuels HERE’s momentum. Collaborations include Qualcomm, an AI-enriched map intelligence; Amazon, a next-generation in-vehicle voice experience powered by Alexa+ and HERE Navigation; Lucid, a best-in-class digital cockpit; and Hyundai AutoEver, fast online navigation.
On the CES Foundry stage, HERE joined AWS, where executives Stefano Marzani and Remco Timmer — moderated by Augustin Friedel of MHP – A Porsche Company — discussed how AI and advanced location technologies are accelerating smarter SDV development.
As a CTA member, HERE remains aligned with emerging trends and regulatory considerations impacting the industry. Laurel Davis-Lyons, Senior Director, Industry & External Affairs at HERE Technologies, shared:
“Being part of CTA reinforces HERE’s commitment to collaboration, responsible innovation and advancing technologies that deliver practical benefits for consumer society.”

One Platform, Smarter Performance
Advanced mobility continued to make a strong statement at CES 2026, and Visteon used the moment to unveil its flexible AI-ADAS Compute Module powered by NVIDIA — consolidating cockpit and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) workloads onto a single, scalable platform.
By bringing previously separate systems together, the module reduces hardware duplication, lowers energy consumption and simplifies vehicle architecture. This marks a significant win for automakers, enabling shorter development cycles and reduced system complexity — while delivering drivers a safer, upgradable vehicle experience.
Also at CES, Visteon demonstrated its high-performance compute solution running on the Snapdragon® Cockpit Elite platform and announced a collaboration with TomTom to deliver an in-car, local AI navigation system designed for privacy-first navigation.
Alongside these forward-looking announcements, Visteon celebrated a production milestone with the launch of its next-generation SmartCore™ Pro technology in Mahindra’s XUV700, expanding its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive markets.
Building on CES momentum, the year ahead will likely bring continued growth in display innovation and AI-powered cockpit solutions, along with expanded partnerships and new vehicle segment opportunities.
