Hims & Hers Expands Capabilities: Affordable At-Home Testing for Subscribers
hims & hers Health is launching at-home lab testing after acquiring Sigmund NJ LLC, an at-home testing facility. This move will empower customers to gain deeper health insights while enabling providers to access a broad range of biomarkers through convenient at-home blood draws and whole-body testing.
Customers will use a blood lancet, eliminating the need for needles or dried blood spot cards, to monitor health markers like hormone levels, cardiac risk, stress markets, cholesterol, and more. Providers then use this data for personalized treatment plans. This lab data will also enhance the company’s AI innovations, including MedMatch, bringing healthcare closer to an AI-powered future that is more personalized, accessible, and cost-effective. The company plans to roll out at-home testing within the next year.
CTA supports innovation in healthcare technology, including AI-driven advancements. To promote responsible AI use in healthcare, CTA has published an ANSI standard outlining best practices for identifying and mitigating bias. Building on this effort, CTA released an issue brief in February 2025 summarizing the standard, discussing health AI bias, and providing recommendations for managing it effectively.

A Step Towards More Accurate Health Measures: Withings Health Solutions Partners with Yazen
Weight management can be frustrating and complex, and BMI alone doesn’t always tell the full story. Recognizing its limitations, Withings Health Solutions has partnered with Yazen, a leader in obesity treatment, to provide a more comprehensive health assessment.
Yazen patients will now use Withings’ Body Pro 2 scale, which measures weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, and visceral fat. The scale syncs with the Yazen app, enabling continuous monitoring and personalized treatment adjustments, empowering patients and helping clinicians make informed decisions.
Withings has always been on the cutting edge of healthcare, earning a CES 2025 Innovation Award® for its BPM Pro 2, the first cellular blood pressure monitor designed to revolutionize remote patient monitoring.
