Lavish Lashes: This Robot Takes Beauty to Another Level
As CES 2026 approaches, the spotlight once again shines on robotics — a sector that continues to redefine how we live, work and interact. This year’s show promises to underscore how robots are becoming deeply integrated into everyday life, from home automation to healthcare and even beauty.
The cosmetic industry is more profitable than ever, and technology is driving transformations that make beauty more inclusive, sustainable and personalized. The industry’s growing tech presence inspired CES to expand the CES Innovation Awards® to include a Beauty and Personal Care category.
LUUM Precision Lash — named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2024 — is bringing the future of beauty straight to your favorite department store. By combining next-generation robotics, AI and machine vision, LUUM allows customers to receive a full set of eyelash extensions in just 30 minutes — eliminating the high costs and long appointment times of traditional applications. With safety top of mind, LUUM’s featherweight wands are designed to automatically break away if anything goes wrong during the application process.
Partnering with Ulta and Nordstrom, LUUM is rapidly expanding across California, New York and Texas — recently celebrating its arrival at Nordstrom Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, CA. You can catch LUUM at CES 2026 in Eureka Park.
Safety at Your Fingertips: Unlock New Possibilities in Personal Security
BenjiLock has become a standout in the smart home technology space. As the world’s first patented hybrid fingerprint padlock, the BenjiLock Fingerprint Padlock combines biometric innovation with the reliability of a traditional key — no app, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi required.
The new waterproof design runs on a rechargeable battery lasting up to a year, recognizes ten pre-programmed fingerprints and includes LED and audio indicators for accessibility. With inclusion and human-centered design at its core, BenjiLock is redefining personal security for everyone.
Following his appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, inventor, CEO and founder Robbie Cabral secured an investment from Kevin O’Leary, propelling BenjiLock into a global brand. With more than 50 industry awards, including five CES Innovation Awards, and TSA approval in 79+ countries, BenjiLock continues to unlock the future of security.
As a proud member of CTA, BenjiLock attributes much of its growth and international success to the support and exposure gained through CES and CTA.
Robbie Cabral, Inventor, CEO and FounderCES and CTA have been the cornerstone of BenjiLock’s journey — where dreams became opportunities and innovation found its home. From our debut and Shark Tank discovery to CES Innovation Awards, this community has fueled our growth and global connections. This Robotaxi is Reaching New Highs in Our Nation’s Capital
Zoox, an autonomous, all-electric robotaxi service, is expanding testing to its first Mid-Atlantic location — Washington, D.C. — joining its existing fleets in the San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, Seattle, Austin, Miami, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
The Zoox testing fleet consists of retrofitted SUVs equipped with safety drivers who first map city routes before transitioning to full autonomous testing. With D.C.’s complex street layouts and unpredictable weather, the nation’s capital is the perfect environment for Zoox’s next stage of development.
Zoox is built entirely around the rider — with no steering wheel in sight. Equipped with automatic doors, ambient music, zoned climate control, carriage-style seating and a sleek, spacious interior.
CES 2026 attendees can find Zoox in West Hall and even take a ride along the Las Vegas Strip through the Zoox app — making them the first company in history to offer a fully autonomous ride-hailing service in a purpose-built robotaxi.
