Innovation helps to create good jobs, grow the economy and provide solutions to some of the world’s largest challenges. Held in Washington, D.C., each year, CTA Tech Week is a snapshot of the innovation that happens at CES.

CTA Tech Week includes the Digital Patriots Dinner, which recognizes congressional and industry leaders for their instrumental roles in advancing technology innovation, CES on the Hill, which focuses on technological advances and issues pertinent to the consumer tech industry, Lobby Day and the association's Board of Industry Leaders meeting.

On April 30, the Digital Patriots Dinner recognized industry and government leaders for their constructive impact on the consumer technology industry. The 2019 recipients, Reps. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) and Greg Walden (R-OR), were honored at the 15th Digital Patriots Dinner held at the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Also, the International Innovation Scorecard awards were accepted by Switzerland’s Ambassador to the U.S. Martin Dahinden and the Deputy Assistant to the President for Technology Policy and Deputy U.S. CTO Michael Kratsios.

The following day on May 1, CES on the Hill, located in the Rayburn House Office Building, gave policymakers, members of Congress and their staff, as well as the media, the opportunity to engage with technology businesses and see how pro-innovation policies benefit the U.S. economy. Entrepreneurs from the digital advocacy and accessibility sectors were on hand to show their products and services and share their unique startup stories with government officials.

Roughly 20 companies showed their services and products, including some of the most successful tech companies, such as:

• Amazon
• Facebook
• Google
• Qualcomm
• Samsung
• Uber

CES on the Hill also featured startups like:

• AppMy's TourTrackr app streamlines the scheduling of tours in the D.C. area.
• ProGlove, maker of smart, wearable and lightweight barcode scanners to connect to the internet of things.
• ROYBI Robot, maker of ROYBI, the first and only AI-powered language-teaching and companion robot.
• Sfara, developer of artificially intelligent mobile solutions.
