CTA Foundation Pitch Competition 

The Consumer Technology Association Foundation is hosting its annual Pitch Competition sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs. We are looking for innovative technologies that help people stay connected as they age.

Connection is critical for health. Studies have compared the health impacts of loneliness to obesity, smoking and inactivity. Join us in our search for new innovative takes to bring people together and address the challenges of social isolation and loneliness.

Entry Deadline: March 3, 2021

CTA Foundation and AARP Innovation Labs are looking for innovative technologies that help people stay connected.

Staying social and staying connected is critical to health for people at any age. The past year has highlighted the challenges as we maintained physical distancing. We are searching for the best new solutions to help people stay socially connected to compete in our 2021 pitch competition.

We invite startups to pitch their innovations to our panel of industry experts. Winners selected by both the panel and the audience.

Eligible Companies

Companies eligible to participate in the pitch competition must meet the following criteria:

  • Have less than $500,000 in annual revenue.
  • Have raised less than $10 million in investments.
  • Located in the United States.

Benefits for the Pitch Winner

The winner of the CTA Foundation Pitch Competition will receive the following:

  • Recognition and interview opportunities through the CTA Foundation network

  • Opportunity for consideration for coaching and mentoring from AARP Innovation Labs Leadership*

*companies must qualify based on final pitch competition rules and mentoring
