CTA is thrilled to announce the return of PlugFest. This is an exceptional opportunity for consumer technology developers worldwide to gather and test the compatibility of their products with products from other manufacturers before products hit the market.
Please join us to privately test your HDMI® interfaces with other companies at the Embassy Suites LAX South in Los Angeles, California, October 30 - November 4, 2022. To secure your spot complete these three simple steps:
1. Register for the event.
You will be asked for details about the equipment you will be testing. A downloadable form can help you prepare your answers for input into the registration site. If your test team will have multiple people, one person should complete the form and fill out the contact information for the other team members. The person completing the form does not have to be the team leader, but will be asked to submit a credit card payment to cover all members of the team. The fee is $249 per person for CTA members, $349 per person for non-members. On September 17, 2022 the fee increases to $349 for CTA members and $449 for non-members, so register by September 17 to save $100 per person! Registration closes completely on October 17, 2022.
2. Reserve your hotel room(s).
The CTA PlugFest room block at the Embassy Suites is $181/night plus taxes and fees. Use the link above, then click the “Special Rate” button, then in the Group Code Box type “CP2” then click the “Update” button. The room block expires on October 14, 2022.
3. Sign and return the PlugFest Participant Agreement.
With this agreement participants agree to treat information they learn about each other’s products confidentially. The agreement also establishes other rules for the event. Every company participating in PlugFest must sign this agreement before its representatives will be allowed to participate. The deadline for submitting the Participant Agreement is October 23, 2022.
