This Girl is on a Mission to Throw the First Pitch at Every MLB Stadium, Thanks to Social Media and 3D Printing

Hailey Dawson was born with a rare disease that left her without three fingers on her right hand. But the seven year old isn’t letting that slow her down. With a custom 3D-printed hand she is proving she can do anything, including throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game.

The life-long baseball fan taught herself how to hold and throw a baseball and now wants to use her 3D-printed hand to throw the first pitch at every MLB stadium. She’s already thrown the ceremonial first pitch for the Orioles and the Nationals, and now thanks to social media, other teams are taking notice.

After a video telling her story was posted to Twitter, MLB teams started reaching out to invite her to come to their stadiums. You can check out the video below.
