Streaming Services Have Caught Up to Paid TV Subscriptions

Streaming services (both paid and free) are now used by 68 percent of U.S. adults, just slightly more than the percentage of paid TV subscribers, which is used by 67 percent. There’s more evidence of streaming taking over — 49 percent are watching video content on devices other than TVs, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones.
