While wearing a pair of electronic glasses, Olivia met her favorite players, Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan and Mark Giordano, after their big win over the Islanders.

Calgary Flames fan Olivia Lettich had never been able to see her favorite team score the winning goal or face off against its rival in the playoffs. Olivia was born with a bilateral retinoblastoma, a rare pediatric eye cancer, that forced doctors to remove her right eye. Though she has been to numerous Flames games, she had never actually seen one. Until now.

While wearing a pair of electronic glasses, Olivia met her favorite players, Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan and Mark Giordano, after their big win over the Islanders. The glasses improved her vision from 20/400 to 20/40, thanks to high-definition camera technology.

“I was able to see all the colors, all the shots, all the names on the jerseys, all the blocks and how fast they were moving,” said Olivia. “It was all so amazing.”
