Plan Ahead with Scheduled Rides from Uber

Michael Williams, Digital Media Intern, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)

Uber passengers in London can now book trips up to 30 days in advance. The company (a Consumer Technology Association [CTA] member) began offering the service in Seattle in June.

London is the first European city to get the feature. Scheduled rides are only available for users with an Uber for Business account or Business Profile. It will roll out to non-businesses “in the coming fortnight,” according to the company.

“Whether it's having a car ready at the end of a meeting or to take you to the airport, scheduling your Uber in advance means there's one less thing to worry about,” said Tom Elvidge, General Manager of Uber in London.
