An Immersive Home Theater that Makes You a Part of the Movie

Kasey Stanton, Web Content, Coordinator, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™

Although this home theater integration project was developed to blend in with the design of the rest of the house, the advanced technology in it transports you right into the scenes of a movie. It may seem like you’re sitting on the comfy couch in your basement, but the JBL surround sound speakers and special sculptured acoustic panels convince you that you’re on the streets of Los Angeles battling alongside Transformers.
Using an iPad as a remote control, users can project a crystal clear image onto a Stewart Luxus Deluxe Screen giving you a one-of-a-kind in-home experience.
The project was a finalist in the Home Theater/Media Room Project of the Year above $50,000 category for the 2015 Mark of Excellence (MOE) System Integrators Awards Program. The Mark of Excellence program recognizes the best in custom integration and installed technology each year.
