With digital health exhibits expanding by 40 percent and digital fitness exhibits expanding by 30 percent, the 2014 International CES is sure to show you the technology that will help you stay healthy and in shape.

According to CEA’s 2014 Five Technology Trends to Watch, as the aging Baby Boomer population requires more health care and support, devices that can monitor their health and safety are garnering attention and growing capital investment. In fact, a 2013 CEA survey found that one-third (33 percent) of mobile device owners have used their devices to track some aspect of their health in the last 12 months.

Consumer interest in purchasing dedicated wearable fitness devices in the next 12 months quadrupled to 13 percent in 2013, from just three percent in 2012, according to CEA’s Understanding the Market for Wearable Health and Fitness Devices.

You can find digital health and fitness technology all over the show floor at CES this year. The FitnessTech TechZone will feature hundreds of products, services and solutions that use technology to make workouts and outdoor activities fun, safe and effective. FitnessTech will also include a full-day conference highlighting the key trends impacting the collective multi-billion dollar sports, fitness and outdoor markets. The sessions will discuss hot topics like fitness bands, wearable tech and how fitness devices will get even smarter in the years to come.

The Digital Health Summit TechZone empowers people to play a more participatory role in their health by providing more high-tech health services. The TechZone will be accompanied by the two-day conference highlighting games that reinforce healthy behaviors, body sensors that let people take more responsibility for their health, revolutionary programs employers are implementing using digital health, real-time medicine monitoring and more.
