CES is the place where tech companies big and small come to do business. Comcast and Netflix recently announced a new agreement, which, the companies claim, will allow Comcast customers to have quicker and more reliable access to Netflix services. This deal comes on the heels of another huge announcement from Comcast. Just 10 days earlier, Comcast shared its plans to acquire Time Warner Cable for $45 billion.

This news certainly has the tech world buzzing, and it all started at the 2014 International CES. The New York Times reported that sources close to the deal said it was “reached after a meeting between Brian L. Roberts, chief executive of Comcast, and Reed Hastings, the chief executive of Netflix” at the 2014 International CES in January.
