CES Pitch Contest

The Consumer Technology Association Foundation is hosting its first CES pitch competition at CES2019 sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs.  Join us for an exciting opportunity to hear from innovators using a wide variety of disruptive technologies to help people stay connected and prevent isolation. After the great success of AARP Innovation Lab's 2018 series of pitch events, we are excited to kick off their 2019 series at CES, the global stage for innovation!

Join us January 10th at 10 AM on the Startup Stage in Eureka Park.  All CES 2019 attendees are invited to participate and select the winners!

Pitching Finalists:

Join our program which will include:
  • Daymond John, the AARP Brand Ambassador who is the Founder and CEO of $6 billion global lifestyle brand, FUBU, and Co-Star of ABC’s Emmy Award winning business show, Shark Tank
  • Denise Gibson, CoFounder and Chair of Ice Mobility and Chair of the CTA Foundation
  • Andy Miller, SVP of Innovation and Product Development, AARP
  • Allyson Plosko, Sector Manager, Health, Village Capital
  • Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO, AARP
  • Stephen Ewell, Executive Director, CTA Foundation

Entrant Criteria:

  • Be a CES 2019 Exhibitor

  • Have less than $5 million in revenue

  • Raised less than $10 millon

  • Address social connectivity and/or social isolation


  • Two winners will be selected by audience poll. The winning teams will be invited to pitch at the AARP Innovation Labs 2019 Grand Pitch Competition. 

Attendee Details:

The pitch will be held on the Startup Stage in Eureka Park on Thursday, January 10 at 10AM. 

Finalists will pitch before an expert panel of judges and final selections will be made by audience poll. Winners will advance on to the AARP Innovation Lab Grand Pitch.
