Portable Digital Media Interface, CTA-2017

    Program Description

The portable digital media interface (PDMI) logo indicates that a product is compliant with CTA-2017, Common Inerconnection for Portable Media Players. This standard defines electrical and mechanical properties for a connector that will pass audio, video and associated metadata signals, and power between portable electronic devices and in-home and in-vehicle audio/video sysems. When consumers see the logo, they can be assured that the product supports the common connector, allowing them to play and charge their portable media devices in their vehicles and their homes.
