House Should Approve Senate's Judicial Redress Act, Says CTA
The following statement is attributed to Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)™, formerly the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® regarding yesterday’s Senate vote on the Judicial Redress Act: “As a result of broad NSA surveillance and the recent breakdown of the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework, American businesses have been fighting an uphill battle to restore consumer trust abroad. The Judicial Redress Act will go a long way toward remedying this challenge by extending U.S. judicial recourse to the citizens of European allies."
