The CTA Foundation supports organizations that enhance the lives of seniors and people with disabilities through technology.

At this time the CTA Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals. Organizations that fit our mission and the below requirements can make us aware of their efforts by submitting information about their programs through the contact us page, however please recognize that due to limited staff and resources the CTA Foundation cannot respond to unsolicited requests.


The organizations we support are eligible tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations as defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)

We Do Not Fund:

  • Individuals (stipends, fellowships, personal assistance)
  • Loans of money for any purpose
  • Equipment or devices for individual users
  • Projects or events that are already completed
  • Endowment campaigns
  • Political campaigns or causes
  • Capital campaigns or building funds
  • Organizations that discriminate by race, color, creed, religion, veteran status or national origin
  • Organizations engaged exclusively in political activities or lobbying
  • Projects exclusively benefiting individuals or groups outside the United States

Older Adults Technology Services

The CTA Foundation is pleased to support Older Adults Technology Services (OATS). We joined other  companies, including the AT&T Foundation, Sony USA Foundation, and Verizon, to support the organization’s flagship Senior Planet Exploration Center. This center, located in Manhattan, is designed to offer a wide range of high-quality technology training and related programming to senior citizens. The center improves social and civic engagement, health, and promotes lifelong learning through adoption and utilization of consumer technologies. You can learn more about the center at
